Going Down

This picture was taken during my descent from the Low's Peak of Mount Kinabalu. It is the same way that we had to climb up at around 3:40AM in absolute darkness, that was disturbed only by a narrow light of one's headlamp. Going down and realizing how some places were actually much broader and safer than we thought (like the plateau in the panoramic picture of Mount Kinabalu) or much narrower and steeper than the imagination told us was breathtaking. Further, way way down, we could see the plains of Sabah - the ultimate destination of this full-day descent trip. I love that place.
